Firmware Update Browser Support

First connect the keyboard to your computer using a wired USB connection.

Firmware flashing is currently supported only in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Please do not use Safari, Firefox or other browsers for firmware flashing. This restriction applies to firmware updates; it is not a statement that all HUB configuration features require these two browsers.

  1. Connect the keyboard directly with a USB data cable.
  2. Open the firmware update page in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
  3. Close other software that may be communicating with the keyboard.
  4. Reconnect the keyboard and try the firmware update again.
  5. If necessary, try another USB data cable or USB port.

Keep the wired connection in place during the update. Use only a firmware package provided by FGG for your exact model and hardware version. If the issue continues, contact FGG Support for the appropriate package and instructions. Do not repeatedly flash an unknown or mismatched file.

Keyboard / HUB Troubleshooting

Try the following steps one at a time and check whether the issue is resolved after each step:

  1. Restore factory settings using the instructions for your keyboard model. Note your custom settings first, because a reset returns settings to their factory state.
  2. Update the keyboard firmware using a wired connection and the package matched to your exact device.
  3. Try a different USB data cable.
  4. Try a different USB port.
  5. If available, use a high-quality data cable that supports the keyboard's required data rate.

After each step, reconnect the keyboard and test it. If the issue is resolved, you do not need to continue.

If the issue appears to be HUB-related, this Troubleshooting Reference Video on Bilibili may help. It is an additional reference, not a mandatory step or firmware download. You can also open the official FGG HUB or the FGG HUB support page. For firmware updates, use Chrome or Edge.

Firmware Package

If you need a firmware package, please contact FGG Support and we will provide the appropriate package for your device. Firmware is model- and hardware-specific; no universal download is offered here.

For a keyboard that cannot connect or complete a firmware update, open Tool > Equipment Recognition in the HUB and obtain the device code. Also photograph the identification sticker on the underside of the keyboard. Send the code, sticker photo, exact model and error screenshot privately to FGG Support. If no device code appears, describe what is shown and include the sticker photo.

MAD G Mouse: Try Wired Mode

If your MAD G mouse has connection or performance issues, first try using it in wired mode.

  1. Reconnect the mouse using a USB data cable.
  2. Try a different USB data cable.
  3. Try another USB port.
  4. Restart the HUB or browser.
  5. Reconnect the mouse and check whether it is detected correctly.

If the mouse works normally in wired mode but the issue continues in wireless mode, contact FGG Support with your exact MAD G model and a description of the issue. This does not by itself identify a faulty receiver, wireless module or PCB.

This is a separate mouse support note. The tested keyboard models listed in this reference remain unchanged. Do not use keyboard firmware on a mouse.

Still need help? Contact FGG Support and include your product model, firmware version (if available), browser, operating system and a short description of the issue. If possible, include screenshots or a short video.

  2. Open the Dead Zone Settings gear.
  3. Inspect Top Dead Zone and Bottom Dead Zone separately; return to the trigger editor when finished.
  4. Test normal pressing, bottom-out and release after changing values.

At 06:23 Top Dead Zone shows 0.100 mm and Bottom Dead Zone shows 0.300 mm. Each printed scale runs from 0.000 to 1.000 mm. Editable endpoints, increment, factory defaults and retained writes are not verified. The gear is opened in the selected-key context; all-key behavior is not established. A dead zone excludes an end region of travel; actuation sets the initial press position, while RT uses movement thresholds.

14. DKS

Values and available ranges may vary by model or firmware version.

Dynamic Keystroke (DKS)

Map up to four actions to stages of a press and release.

English Reference: Dynamic Keystroke (DKS)
Chinese source UI with English guidance · HUB.mp4 04:49–05:12 · tap to enlarge.
  1. Open DKS and select the physical key.
  2. Review four travel stages: press start, bottom-out, release from bottom-out and fully released.
  3. Use the action slots and output-key palette to configure the intended stage actions. Scroll the editor to see all slots.
  4. Review all thresholds and bindings before Confirm; Cancel leaves the editor.

The first three visible threshold values at 04:52 are 0.1, 3.2 and 3.2 mm; the fourth is clipped in that frame and is not transcribed. These are current editor values, not defaults or verified limits. Output bindings appear during editing, but completion, playback and persistence are not established.

15. SOCD

Values and available ranges may vary by model or firmware version.

SOCD Pair Editor

Choose a simultaneous-input rule for a configured pair.

English Reference: SOCD Pair Editor
Chinese source UI with English guidance · HUB.mp4 04:29–04:46 · tap to enlarge.
  1. Open SOCD and assign Physical Key 1 and Physical Key 2.
  2. Choose Last Input Priority, Neutral (Mutual Cancellation), Key 1 Priority or Key 2 Priority from Priority Settings.
  3. Review the rule, then use Confirm or Cancel. Test the pair in an appropriate application.

All four rule labels are visible at 04:36–04:45. No complete configured-pair output or retained binding is demonstrated. Check the rules of the application or game before using this behavior.

16. Mod-Tap

Values and available ranges may vary by model or firmware version.

Mod Tap (MT)

Give one physical key a short-tap action and a hold action.

English Reference: Mod Tap (MT)
Chinese source UI with English guidance · HUB.mp4 05:29–05:41 · tap to enlarge.
  1. Open MT and assign Physical Key, Hold and Tap.
  2. Adjust Time (ms) and read the instruction underneath.
  3. Confirm the binding and test taps shorter than the threshold and holds at or above it.

At 05:35 the displayed threshold is 116 ms. The UI says a hold of at least the displayed threshold is treated as Hold; a shorter press is Tap. The slider changes during the recording, so this is not a factory default. Limits, step and actual output remain unverified.

17. TGL

Values and available ranges may vary by model or firmware version.

Toggle (TGL)

Use a short tap to toggle continuous output and a hold for normal momentary input.

English Reference: Toggle (TGL)
Chinese source UI with English guidance · HUB.mp4 05:43–05:50 · tap to enlarge.
  1. Open TGL and assign Physical Key and TGL Key.
  2. Review Time (ms).
  3. Use Confirm, then test both tap-to-toggle and deliberate holding in a harmless context.

At 05:45 the UI says a hold of at least 100 ms is normal momentary input; shorter taps toggle the output on or off. 100 ms is a captured value, not a recommended default. No completed binding or output test is shown.

18. Macro

Values and available ranges may vary by model or firmware version.

Smart Keys / Macro Library

Find and assign recorded sequences through Smart Keys.

English Reference: Smart Keys / Macro Library
Chinese source UI with English guidance · Retained audited earlier source · tap to enlarge.
  1. Open Key Mapping, then Smart Keys.
  2. Open a macro slot to view or edit its sequence.
  3. Select the destination key and the intended macro as directed on screen.

Smart Keys is the macro area, not the lighting asset library. The illustrated slots are NANO68 V2; MAD60 V2 slot capacity is not yet verified.

19. Profiles

Onboard Profiles

Choose one of the displayed onboard profiles and check its shortcut.

English Reference: Onboard Profiles
Chinese source UI with English guidance · HUB.mp4 07:34–07:40 · tap to enlarge.
  1. Open Other Settings → Onboard Profiles.
  2. Select the intended profile row. The recording switches from profile 1 to 2 and then 3.
  3. Read the shortcut displayed for the connected model and check settings in that same profile.

Three rows and UI switching are verified at 07:34–07:40. NANO shows hold Fn+U / Fn+I / Fn+O. Earlier MAD60 footage shows hold Fn+F / Fn+G / Fn+H. Exact hold duration, stored contents and reconnect persistence are not verified.

20. Save / Apply

Use the action shown by the current editor: Confirm, Save, Create, Save Animation or Save Asset. These have different scopes; there is no demonstrated universal Apply button. Confirm model, profile and layer, change one item, complete the editor action, read it again, then test output. If retention matters, reopen and reconnect to the same model/profile and read it back. This audit does not verify those complete persistence chains.

21. Restore Defaults

Restore Defaults on a page or layer has the scope indicated there. Factory Reset explicitly resets all keyboard settings. Read the full prompt before either action. This guide does not require resetting or updating firmware to follow its examples.

22. Firmware / Device Information

Firmware Information & Factory Reset Warning

Read device firmware information and understand reset scope.

English Reference: Firmware Information & Factory Reset Warning
Chinese source UI with English guidance · HUB.mp4 07:34 · tap to enlarge.
  1. Open Other Settings → Firmware Update to read the connected device version and status.
  2. Include model and version in support requests.
  3. Read the Factory Reset warning; use page-level Restore Defaults only for its displayed scope.

The recorded NANO device shows V1.08 and Up to Date at 07:35. This is a captured status, not a claim about current firmware for all products. Factory Reset warns that all keyboard settings return to factory state. No firmware update or reset was performed for this audit. Public visuals redact the device UID.

Before updating firmware: use a wired connection and Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Only use firmware matched to your exact device; contact support if you are unsure which package to use.

23. Troubleshooting

Situation What to check
Connect button unavailable Select the correct device in the HID chooser. Check model and connection if it is missing.
Controls differ Confirm the selected model, firmware, OS layer and profile.
RT fields are missing Check Continuous Rapid Trigger (RT), not the separate Quick Travel view control.
Accidental or unstable input Review actuation, RT, dead zones and switch matching; follow calibration instructions. The overclocking UI warns about possible input dropouts with unsuitable switches.
Unsaved animation warning Continue Editing preserves your draft; Discard loses unsaved edits.
Lighting preview differs from keyboard Check selected device and editor save/apply scope. Preview alone is not proof of hardware output.
Need support Provide product, firmware/app version, connection, selected profile and a screenshot of the exact message. Redact identifiers and private screen content.

24. Model-Specific Notes

Common navigation and editor structure do not make every numerical range, switch type or profile shortcut identical. The recorded NANO view is labeled FGG NANO 68 V2 Dual and shows firmware V1.08 at capture time. Earlier MAD60 V2 footage provides additional UI examples. TITAN75 TURBO compatibility is confirmed by FGG; no separate TITAN capture is claimed. Follow the device selector, firmware and diagram shown for your keyboard.

25. FAQ

Which keyboards does this reference cover?

FGG confirms MAD60/68 V2, TITAN75 TURBO and NANO68 V2 use this common HUB interface. Per-model hardware details can differ.

Do all products use the same HUB link?

Newer and older products can have different driver links. Open the official FGG HUB page and choose the entry matching your product.

Why are the images in Chinese?

They preserve the real captured interface. Numbered English callouts and text explain it without pretending that an English software build was recorded.

How do I change actuation?

Open Trigger Settings → Custom, select the key and inspect Actuation Point. Confirm the target key, profile and firmware before changing it.

Is Rapid Trigger the same as actuation?

No. Actuation sets the first fixed press point; RT uses movement thresholds for subsequent reset/reactivation.

Where do I find both dead zones?

Open the Dead Zone Settings gear inside the selected-key trigger editor. The recorded panel shows separate Top Dead Zone and Bottom Dead Zone controls.

Are the displayed values recommended defaults?

No. Values in this guide are captured examples. Neither defaults nor validated editable limits are established by a printed slider scale.

What does SOCD Priority Settings contain?

The recorded editor shows Last Input Priority, Neutral (Mutual Cancellation), Key 1 Priority and Key 2 Priority.

What is the difference between calibration and sensitivity?

Calibration aligns sensing with physical switch travel. Actuation and RT select input sensitivity behavior; they do not replace calibration.

Will settings remain after unplugging?

That complete persistence test is not shown. Use the editor action where offered, reconnect to the same profile and read the value again before relying on retention.

Are polling rate and scan rate the same?

No. Polling is host reporting; scan rate is internal sensing. The polling choices are visible, but a separately named scan-rate setting and measured rates are not verified.

Can I reuse lighting files between keyboards?

A shared interface does not prove compatible LED geometry or file mappings. Review the target model and import validation before applying an animation.

Firmware update is not working. What should I do?

My keyboard is not working correctly in FGG HUB. What should I try?

My MAD G mouse is not working correctly. What should I try?

Where can I get the correct firmware package?

If you need a firmware package, please contact FGG Support and we will provide the appropriate package for your device. Firmware is model- and hardware-specific; no universal download is offered here.

For a keyboard that cannot connect or complete a firmware update, open Tool > Equipment Recognition in the HUB and obtain the device code. Also photograph the identification sticker on the underside of the keyboard. Send the code, sticker photo, exact model and error screenshot privately to FGG Support. If no device code appears, describe what is shown and include the sticker photo.

Still need help? Contact FGG Support and include your product model, firmware version (if available), browser, operating system and a short description of the issue. If possible, include screenshots or a short video.

26. Verification Status

Interface Reference: Verified. Parameter Verification: Partial. English labels are reference translations. Some parameter ranges may vary by device or firmware version. Editor Verified means the editor and controls are visible; Function Verified requires completed configuration and observed output. Write verification, session persistence and device persistence remain partial because the complete test chains are not shown. Screen previews and selected radio buttons do not establish physical performance.

This revision documents 43 interface pages/subpages across 26 chapters, 418 UI translations and 43 annotated reference images. The newest video revisits 25 documented views; earlier audited material covers the remaining dialogs and lighting tools.
